The vast knowledge and uncompromising attitude of Pavel Kogan to his work is guarantee of creative success of MSASO under his control.With the coming of Pavel Kogan at the post of chief conductor - artistic director of the orchestra - team gains a phenomenal success both at home and abroad, performs with the triumph at the best concert halls all over the world. The MSASO’s repertoire is incredibly expanding. It includes the entire world classical music, including works of contemporary russian composers A. Petrov, E. Denisov, M. Weinberg, G. Dmitriev.
Under the guidance of maestro Kogan the creative form of team reaches the highest level, whereby it becomes possible to implement the most difficult symphonic cycles, amazed both the audience of amateurs and professionals of classical music. MSASO presented to the public all the symphonies of Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Brahms, Beethoven, Schumann. Schubert, Mendelssohn, Bruckner, Mahler, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff, Sibelius, Prokofiev and Shostakovich.

It seems surprising, but having such an intense activity with his orchestra, the Maestro always finds time in his schedule for cooperation with major foreign teams, which Pavel Kogan works with both as a guest conductor, and as a leader, contributing the rise of prestige of the Russian conducting school.
Of course, Pavel Kogan’s outstanding services to the arts couldn’t go and won’t go without recognition at the state level.
